The SI Coordinator works closely with the Country Director (CD) to support all HOPE and partner staff to bear witness to Christ and His Kingdom through who we are, how we work, and how we serve the Church. S/he supports the HOPE program, church partner staff, and leadership to lead a spiritually integrated ministry by actualizing the SI Framework in the following ways:

The Spiritual Integration Coordinator/ Manager is responsible for actively modelling and engaging in discipleship with staff, nurturing a culture of discipleship, and implementing discipleship strategies for staff that strengthen their relationship with Christ and nurture one another. The SIC designs, coordinates and actively participates in regular staff Spiritual formation rhythms such as devotional and prayer times to maintain a focus on the program’s Christ-centered mission. S/he supports the CD in shaping the culture of the organization toward biblical ethics and values and maintaining an atmosphere of unity among the staff. Orients and supports new staff members to embrace the Christ-centered culture and mission of HOPE. S/he champions the modelling and celebration of PASSION among staff and CPs.
The Spiritual Integration Coordinator /Point person also assists in conducting spiritual retreats for both country program staff and church partner staff to enhance their understanding and endorsement of the holistic ministry of the Savings Group programs. The format and frequency of these retreats may vary country by country.
Participates in the recruitment of new staff as part of the search committee in the country office as directed by the Country Director

The SIC collaborates with HOPE program staff, Ministry Coordinators, and Church Partner leaders to develop strategies and methodologies for maximizing discipleship and spiritual impact within the Saving Groups ministry. S/he should work with the CD to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior church leadership, and various other relevant church leaders as is necessary to ensure that key strategies for spiritual impact are implemented as a core aspect of the SG ministry.
The SIC is involved in ensuring that discipleship and spiritual impact are integrated within the frontier work the program is pursuing. This includes but is not limited to organizing and leading any trainings that need to take place to prepare the program and partners for engaging with certain frontier groups and ensuring that appropriate program designs are developed to serve these groups in a way that aligns with the contextual realities for each frontier, our Theory of Change (ToC) and the SI models.
The SIC is involved in ensuring that discipleship and spiritual impact are integrated within the program’s Agriculture work or pursuits. This includes organizing and leading any conversations that need to take place to prepare the program and partners to engage in the agriculture ministry. S/he ensures that appropriate program designs are developed to serve these groups in a way that acknowledge each unique context, that aligns with our Theory of Change (ToC) and the SI models.
The SIC should monitor the local church partners’ readiness and commitment to supporting the ministry in preparation for the commissioning of the CFs and should advise the partner leadership and CD/Ops Manager on the progress.
The SIC is responsible for developing annual SI plans and budgets. The SIC is also a key support to other staff members, especially the CD and OM to ensure that overall program plans are Christ-centered and incorporate strategies for spiritual impact. The SIC also provides an updated SI dashboard/report at least once a quarter to the CD, RDs, and other relevant staff to intentionally manage SI priorities and track implementation progress.

The Spiritual Integration Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and ensuring that regular meetings take place with the senior leadership of the church partners. These meetings should most often include the CD, the OM, the AFM, and the SIC, him/herself as participants from HOPE. While the agenda may include operational and financial conversations and updates, the SIC should ensure that the meeting also involves conversation around local church engagement with the ministry as well as the partner's spiritual integration strategy and how it relates to the SG ministry.
The SIC trains and supports the equipment of Local church leaders through Local church Leader meetings at least two times in person per cohort before their commissioning. The SIC may take on any other responsibilities as assigned by the CD.
